Dunedin Midwinter Carnival

The Dunedin Midwinter Carnival is an iconic annual celebration that has developed a large public following. It has become known as one of the most spectacular and accessible community events held in Dunedin, which aims to celebrate our distinctive seasons in a creative and positive way.

For the 2023 MidWinter Carnival, I was part of the team responsible for the animated projections onto First Church. Once 'Enchanted Forest' was picked for the theme, we got to work creating out assets by hand then transferring them to digital. Overall we created a ten minute animation, seen by thousands of people. This animation follows you from the sky, to the land, to the sea.
